PHILOSOPHY
Therapeutic Massage helps those with an active lifestyle improve their quality of life without the use of mind-altering medications. Chronic pain is an issue many deal with that can have a number of underlying causes, some of which being: old injury, overexercise, overuse and poor posture. Carissa Sheleng, LMT works with her clients to address these chronic issues, treating the body as a whole to improve mobility & function.
A graduate of The Cortiva Institute in St. Petersburg, Carissa has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for a number of years helping others from all walks of life. In working with clients who were at all different activity levels, there was one common factor among them she discovered; every client had some form of chronic pain weather it was a realized issue or not. These chronic issues can have long lasting effects on our bodies, making it difficult to maintain or restore our overall well-being. Carissa is committed to helping her clients live comfortably, giving them their strength, mobility and balance back. There are many active individuals who can benefit from Therapeutic Massage Therapy.
